ISTANBUL FASHION, TEXTILE AND APPAREL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION

The Turkish Clothing Manufacturers' Association (TCMA), a leading NGO of the industry, is organising an international conference, titled, "Istanbul Fashion, Textile and Apparel Conference and Exhibition" with the theme of "Bridges of Fashion, where design and production meet" on June 26-27th, 2008, in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Conference aims at bringing together the global key players of the fashion, design and apparel manufacturing industry, in order to share information, new practices and guidelines for the future of the industry, especially in the Euromed zone, the neighboring countries. The conference targets to attract attention to Turkey and Istanbul as a center of fashion, textile and apparel industry.

There will be a total of seven sessions in the 2-day Conference.
The main topics are; "Tour Around the Sourcing World", "New Global Trade Order", "Innovation and New Technologies", "Design' in the Future and New Trends – Looking Ahead", "Magic of Supply Chain Management", "Textiles Design and Fashion Culture in Anatolia" "Art of Textiles and Fashion Culture in Anatolia" and "Education for the Industry".
